**Magics and Items**

Magics and Items are the two basic features must be used in order to play the game (in most cases). Items can be brought in the shops and from the defeated enemies while magics can only be drew from enemies, draw points or refined from items. Items work quite the same with the previous episodes of Final Fantasy. However, Magics work differently. Square deployed a system which emphasises the accumulation of the Magic units (eg if Squall has 10 units of Fire means he can cast 10 fires before he needs to draw any more units)
